Hi, my name is Benny Thompson and I was born playing basketball. As a kid my favorite thing to do was basketball, and they even call me benny buckets. Basketball is like my friend and the first I started playing basketball was in a little league called the Arlington Boys and girls basketball club, The team I played for was the Warriors and now that clicks in my blood. My big brother introduced me to them and then they became my favorite team. My favorite player was Donovan Mitchell because I have blood from Utah.
Then I started a new league in third grade called In-town Basketball and I was the best player on my team and I scored 34 points in a game. But steph curry was a role model to me because he is such a pure shooter and that made me want to do the same thing. Here is a picture of Donovan Mitchell and Steph Curry
My friends think I am a bandwagon because they're just good but they are just in my blood. 2 years ago I played for this team called ASA that I played on. In my last game, I got player of the game by getting 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists and got to take a picture. Then in the summer for my town Belmont, I got player of the game by scoring 18 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds.

Now I am 11 years old and I still play a lot of basketball, I am getting better every day because I play every day. A few weeks ago the golden state warriors traded one of my favorite players Jordan Poole but I still like him because he is a super cool player to watch and has crazy moves
